The Yancey Tournament is a fitting memorial to Bert Yancey, a professional golfer who also suffered the debilitating effects of mental illness. Support for the Yancey is also a way of providing vital support for several CSRA mental health organizations: National Alliance for Mental Illness, Mental Health America and the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance. As the YANCEY goes into its 19th year, we once again call on our loyal supporters to begin making plans for another exciting day of golf at The River Golf Club - October 8th, 2012.

Thanks to tremendous and always-solid regional support, the 2011 Yancey was a huge success. 26 TEAMS. Thanks, CSRA, for your continuing loyalty and enthusiastic participation. We chalked up another banner year as we were able to raise over $21,000 to benefit key mental health agencies in the Metro Augusta Area. The River Golf Club in North Augusta, SC. has once again been named as the 2012 site. Mark your calendars today and get ready for another exciting Yancey Tournament.
